Hello there,

I'm trying to install Mountain Lion on Lenovo L512 laptop with Arrandale CPU i5-520m @ 2.4GHz (First gen i5 CPUs not Sandy Bridge) and Intel GMA HD Integrated GPU (unfortunately I cannot find the exact GPU model). The other specs if they matter ATM are: Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E GBE NIC and WiFi: Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n also I think the MB SB Chipset is HM55.

I'm using this method of ML installation The all-in-one guide to Vanilla OS X Mountain Lion + Chameleon + DSDT for beginners. choosing MacBook Pro 6.1 or 6.2 of the premade SMBioses and every time I stuck during boot of ML installation screen either on this row:

com_lnx2mac_RealtekRTL81xx: Ehternet address xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

I tried different boot switches (-x, GraphicsEnabler=Yes & No, busratio=18, -f, cpus=1) and different combinations of them but I had no luck.

Any help or directions will be highly appreciated

Hi there,

Using these switches I crossed the Ethernet line but I stuck several rows later. I will upload a screenshot shortly.

Regards.

This is what I get now and I cannot tell after which exact row, cause it's too fast:

Thank you I finally install Ml, but the graphics 8086:0046 work only in resolution 1024x768 with no QE and I cannot change it to native at least. Any ideas and how to move this topic to post-install?
