Hi, i have some problems with my audio configuration: the hardware is recognized but when i want to manage the audio there is no device; i have installed these kext: AppleHDA and HDAenabler888b.

I tried to use voodoo but the system crashes and at restart is in kernel panic.

Can someone explain me where i was wrong?

hi, the only way I found to get ALC887 to work on my system (after several tries with ALC8xxHDA+HDAEnabler+ALC887) was to install VoodooHDA 0.2.72 via MBeast (which kernel panicked), rebooted in safe mode, launched disk utility and repaired permissions. Rebooted and all was well, including sound! See sig for details.
