derperoo
Hello all, I have a HP Envy 14t-1200 CTO which has an i5-460m with integrated graphics, and ATI Radeon Mobility 5650. OS X does not detect the 5650 at all, and the integrated graphics are not supported. The BIOS is very limited and does not provide the option of switching the primary graphics card. My question is has anyone disabled the integrated graphics and set the discrete to be the primary through DSDT editing? Thanks for any help! Rampage Dev
Can not be done via DSDT. It must be done via BIOS.

safar
hello Rampage any update on this ? One can find everywhere how to disable the external card, but nothing about disabling the integrated graphics ! Would come usefull for me, as it would be useful for me to keep the vga output of the board enabled, so as to use Supermicro kvm, but don't be embarrassed by this extra loosy graphics card in os x ! thanks
