Need patched Intel GMA X3100 Kexts

The kexts in "X3100 Backup" are the original kexts that HAVE QE/CI WITH the "MOUSE LAG" bug.

The kexts in "x3100_x86_64" are Snow Leopard 10.6.2 kexts that DON'T HAVE QE/CI WITHOUT the "MOUSE LAG".

I need QE/CI WITHOUT mouse lag.

I'm running Lion 10.7.4.

System Profiler:

Chipset Model: GMA X3100

Type: GPU

Bus: Built-In

VRAM (Total): 144 MB

Vendor: Intel (0x8086)

Device ID: 0x2a02

Revision ID: 0x000c

The kexts I've found online for Lion are for "Revision 3" and they do not work without "Revision C".

Why?Yo need only this 2

Or you reinstall all your system kext for GMAx3100?and need all?

Those two you uploaded have different "Info.plist ID's". I don't think you can mix and match. I'll try the pack. Will report back in a minute.

I use a patched X3100FB kext for my X4500MHD GPU and I have never got QE/CI to work on SL or ML in either 32 or 64 bit

Does that tell that the QE/CI code is built specifically for X3100 (2a02) and can't work for another chip (2a42) ?

Need to change id and ven in info.plist inside in kext

X3100FB-im no shuar to work with X4500MHD GPU :worried_anim:

X3100FB works for X4500MHD by patching not only info.plist but every occurrence of the device ID within the code.

the problem as I see is that the kext you said enable QE/CI is a 32bit and ML doesn't have a 32bit kernel :wallbash:

dont't try boot with kernel flag arch=i386,this is wrong..you boot on 64bit mode, right? :hysterical:

only need to add on to your org.chameleon.Boot.plist this one:

       <key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
          <string>Yes</string>

           <key>arch</key>
        <string>i386</string>

Hello all,

I have tried all of the recommendations and methods in this post to get my GMA X3100 (HP Pavillion DV6000 - Intel) fully working on iATKOS L2 10.7.2 with QE/CI, but encountered the same mouse/video lag that many others have. I was almost ready to go back to using SL until it dawned on me...why not copy the kexts from my 10.6 install to my 10.7? I loaded iATKOS S3 version 2 and extracted the following using "Pacifist":

1) gma.pkg

2) natitintel.pkg

3) x3100.pkg

Note - I used Kext Utility after installing the above packages, the I restarted the PC.

I then copied these items to a USB drive and installed on my 10.7.2 setup, and now have fully (and I mean fully) working GMA X3100 on iATKOS L2. I will try these same pkg's on a retail 10.7 install and post the results. I will also post my Chameleon bootloader settings for reference. If someone needs these files, just PM me and I will send directly as they are all in a ZIP that is less than 1MB in size (easy to share). Keep up the good work gents!

Chameleon Bootloader Flags:

Added boot option: Instant Menu=Yes
Added boot option: arch=i386
Added boot option: EthernetBuiltIn=Yes
Added boot option: Kernel Flags=-f
Added boot option: Graphics Mode=1280x800x32

**I take no credit for any of the files I uploaded as they are sourced from iAtkos S3 V2**

Big thanks to Team Uphuck!

I've installed these kexts by kext utility (after removing originals with AppleIntelGMAX3100GA.plugin, AppleIntelGMAX3100GLDriver.bundle, AppleIntelGMAX3100VADriver.bundle and AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext) but still got strip on display that split up the screen to 2 screens. GMA X3100 Device ID: 0x2a02 Revision ID: 0x0003 iAtkos L2 (Lion 10.7.2) booting in 32 bit mode (package). Does anyone face this problem or know the solution????

AAPL00,DualLink=0

If you are using Clover then in config.plist you may look into

	<key>Graphics</key>
	<dict>
		<key>DualLink</key>
		<integer>0</integer>
	</dict>

Or vise versa change to 1.
