Hello

My OEM crappy USB keyboard not responding after sleep/wake
The only way to get the crappy one working after sleep/wake is to unplug and replug the usb plug

(ups... it it rhymes)

however... if i use a microsoft one (from another computer) it wakes up just fine.

any ideas to wake the crappy one? or should i throw it in the bin?

Depends how crapy it is. If not all ready, try USBBusFix=Yes or CrappyKeyboard=Yes

Maybe its CrappyKeyboard=No ?

If no other USB issues when waking from sleep like external drives ejecting or anything, and it's only that keyboard, maybe time to toss it in the crap bin.
