Ah yes, I have the panics on Zlib as well. No idea what's going on yet....

I'll make a new release with some tweaked bits, and the system.kext... shortly

We've had to patch corecrypto, maybe there are other patches required. The opemu can only kick in for userspace.

Bugs in the opemu. Here is the newest build. Athlons will like this, ;)

About the source, yes, I will release them.

Boot flags, busratio.

Huge thanks to AnV and Meklort in particular, they really rock! AnV was here all along helping us even though he underwent surgery, if that's not dedication, I don't know what is!

Thx Sinetek.

I'll continue helping the os x scene untill I drop ;)

That's also what my girlfriend likes about me and why she is gonna mary me... she knows I do what I can and I love her with all my heart :D

Edit: don't forget about my new year gifts here:

Still plenty of redeem codes available ;)

It WORKS! My myHack Mountain Lion installer boots all the way to the installer, and then claims "There was a problem reading the Mac OS X installation disc. Carefully clean the disc, and the try reinstalling." Terminal and Disk utility launch just fine.

On my 10.8.2 installation, I get the AppleACPIPlatformExpert panic.

I am now going to make a 10.8.0 installation from my Intel box and see what happens...

Try with GraphicsEnabler=Yes. DSMOS has arrived usually means that graphics kexts aren't loaded.

worked with GE=No ,, but then i got

There was a problem reading the Mac OS X installation disc. Carefully clean the disc, and the try reinstalling.

Hi guys, it boats,Yeah!!!! now it remains to ... hangs on, see pic

as sinetek wrote, I have taken the rollbacks and other kexts of mac_carol from 10.8.

with boot flag: -v -f GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x3000

#1172

Please make suggestions, what I can do :king:

while, the picture appeared I pressed any buttons, then there was something, no idea, it was done so quickly. Now the screen is now black!

Kernels for 10.8.2, as well as System.kext.

Try them, please report what works best/what doesn't. See previous post for more info. Athlon-friendly.

Yeah had some problems with FakeSMC...... Sometimes it fails, for some reason. Could bring back the in-kernel decryptor, waiting for input from meklort

I have tested all the kernels, all the same error

FakeSMC r615 with Plugins

without: OemSMBIOS.kext, IntelCPUMonitor.kext

its hangs on waiting for DSMOS...........

someone has a good idea how we can fix the problem?

I have now installed the latest graphics card driver for my GTX550 TI

boot flag: PCIRootUID=1 GraphicEnabler = Yes npci=0x3000 -s -f

I'm coming into safe mode, but it will not boot.

it still remains under waiting for DSMOS.... :wallbash:

:help: excuse me sinetek, I did not understand your last message? I do not know what you mean. :help:

@Spakk

Entschuldigung, ich war unbedingt unklar. Hier ist einen neuen Kern mit integrierten DSMOS fix..

https://meklort.com/...se_all_kdecrypt

Probier es mal.

Thanks sinetekabklatschen.gif

it invites yet, I will test it right away!

AkimoA.gif

The first picture with boot : mach_sse_all_kdecrypt - s -f

than about 10 minutes later comes the second picture

wait a moment please i check my Bios!!

see Pic 3

with the second download:

decrypt.diff + System.kext + mach_sse_all_kdecrypt

with boot flag -s -f

KP!

  • I must note, however, that I still have the original IOACPFamily.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext , this means that I have no made rollback.!!! should i do the rollback from 10.8.2 to 10.8.1 or 10.8 ?

  • Hi sinetek, it is probably the kernel, I did rollback to 10.8.1, the same error

Watch this space for changes, I'll be dumping new stuff there. //// Mehrere Kerne gibts dort,

https://meklort.com/....2 sinetek 003/

Thanks for the updates :)

I've tested all those newer kernel,

but I can only boot my osx ML-10.8.2 either with mach_sse42_nosupssse3 or mach_sse42_only

With these 4 other kernels (mach_sse3_only, mach_sse42, mach_sse_all_kdecryp, mach_ssse3_only),

I got the AppleFSCompressionTypeZlib panic

sinetek_ml_08.gif

With mach_sse42_nosupssse3,

the osx was forced to boot into Safe-Mode, even I didn't boot with -x flag

sinetek_ml_10.gif

With mach_sse42_only,

I could boot the osx & login normally

sinetek_ml_09.gif

Some issues I got with those 2 working kernels (mach_sse42_nosupssse3 & mach_sse42_only) :

1. the cpu freq was reported incorrectly

sinetek_ml_11.gif

2. some apps (i.e. iTunes & AppStore) had a better GUI look

sinetek_ml_12.gif

Compared to the cluttered GUI look got with your first build kernel ( http://speedy.sh/JEwUY/mach-kernel )

sinetek_ml_04.gif

3. occasionally, the hdd was spinning hardly (even when there's no app being opened)

EDIT:

I suspect it has something to do with the SPOTLIGHT

now I've already tried to disable it to see if it can stop the random hdd spinning
