rusty4ever Posted August 1, 2012 Share Posted August 1, 2012 I am looking forward to buy one of this notebook, my current being hp dm1(11.6" display) my natural inclination is towards 4430s for 14" display. but my concerns is if and only if hackintosh 4430s works as good as 4530s I would go for 4430s else I have to go with bigger 15.6" 4530s. OR I should wait for new ivy bridge i3s & i5s? also I found several variants in my locality to confuse me!! 1. hp probook 4430s i5 2450m 2. hp probook 4530s i5 2450m 3. hp probook 4530s i5 2450m + Ati radeon 7470 1gb 4. hp probook 4530s i7 2630 price wise chronologically all variants comes in the bracket of $720 to $840 please suggest me the best suitable notebook for hackintosh!!! You can also upgrade to any of those including the quad. The 4430s otherwise will be exactly the same. Buy the cheapest 4530s or 4430s you can find now and sell it when the ivy bridge is fully hackable. That way you get to go ahead and start enjoying it.
