Is my Acer Aspire 5742G compatible of osx 10.6 retail?
Specs:

Intel core i3-M370 2.4 GHz
Intel HD Graphics
6 GB DDR3 RAM
750GB HDD
Nvidia GT540M 2GB

Is it possible to use intel hd kext and run it ?Or will retail installer installs hd graphics by itself?

I think your NVIDIA 540M GT may work in OS X Lion or OS X Mountain Lion. Intel HD Graphics does not work at all in any version of OS X.

Ive tried it on Lion but no QE and no res change. Any kext out there? should i try mountain lion?
