I got Snow Leopard to work seamlessly on my laptop last summer. My laptop will not support Mountain Lion so I'm going to give Lion a try.
Mald0n fixed my DSDT for Snow Leopard, but will it work for Lion too? Or do I need to get it fixed again?
Thanks,

The DSDT should work also for Lion. Anyway, if something does not work properly, i found this patch for DSDT: DV6 Nehalem GENERIC (Celeron Dual Core is Nehalem)

Are you sure that's the right patch? This is my processor: http://ark.intel.com/products/32427

your C2D is not a Nehalem. http://en.wikipedia....croarchitecture) If it was, Mountain Lion wouldn't be a problem.

Sorry
Sorry, i thought it was a Celeron Dual Core processor
.
So the patch should be "DV6 Core2 ICH9 GENERIC".
Try to patch your DSDT with that patch and see if there's any error.
