I have OCZ Octane and have similar problem like people there http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?102332-Octane-1TB-SSD and there http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?103211-OCZ-Octane-128GB-on-Mac-OS-X-Mountain-Lion-GM-randomly-boot-loop. In short:

I get "Failed to issue COM RESET" in boot verbose console, but it boots OK in Safe mode. Lion also boots OK. How to fix the problem?

Nor OCZ nor Apple can help me (Apple just ignoring, OCZ are slowpokes). So I believe there is true hackers who can help. I use original Mac hardware MacBookPro 8,3.

try doing a pram reset, directions for your model can be found online. if no luck try clearing all caches using onyx and rebuild kernel cache. just the first few things things to try but not familiar with specific error.

well if you think about what safe mode does..loads only essential extensions and all sata kexts are essential so would load those either way, and skips booting from kernel cache.

since this is a real mac and not a hack, pram reset is always first thing to do when issues arise like this(aside from repairing permissions), not sure if you tried that already as you mentioned trying many other things

another obvious thing you probably checked, but be sure drive has the latest firmware release installed. probably needs to be on internal sasta in windows to be able to update it, so can be a pain

Unfortunately the drive has the latest firmware and of course pram/smc reset was done several times. It seems it freezes somewhere at launchd phase, but I don't know how to debug it.

Well I doubt Apple will offer any support for an unsupported SSD and likewise OCZ probably doesn't officially support running on OSX. you could try making a smaller OS partition more in line with the macbook SSD sizes (I'm assuming your using one of the big ass SSD's), otherwise may need to wait for ML official release and OCZ would be more likely to provide a solution at that time and/or other users as it becomes more widely used.

I also tried to create small-sized partition, it don't work too. OCZ have support of OS X, right now they trying to contact Apple regarding this issue, but they are too slow and I hope someone on this forum already have a fix or ideas how to fix. Apple don't interesting in solving it, you are right; they ignoring my bugreports, they even ignoring OCZ (as OCZ representative told in their forum). But I want to use only this drive, so... all we are hackers, isn't it? :)

well, sounds like we think alike as far as troubleshooting goes :) Great minds do. You've tried all the thing's I would have done. I'm sure there will be a solution within a week of ML's release, pre-release is always so much harder. I'm confident you'll get it sorted and if I think of anything else I'll let you know.
