I am a newbie to Mac and OSX world, got a lot of info on this forum (thanks to all contributors here) to build HP 8510w with Snow Leopard 10.6.


Three issues that I have not been able to resolve

1. After shutdown machine does not Power down, I have to hold the power button to actually power it down.
2. Can not get the battery notification in the top right hand corner and sometimes if I forget to connect laptop to mains it shutsddown     without any warning.
3. Can not get inbuilt WiFi to work

I have installed EVOReboot but that did not help the Power down problem.

Can someone Please suggest something.
