atka Posted July 15, 2012 Share Posted July 15, 2012 I haven't used this feature in a long time but I can't burn a disc in iTunes, I don't even have the burn option in preferences. Yah I know that its just that in 10.8 I don't have that option or the option to even set any burning options in preferences. Just wondering if its something with my setup or if they removed it. I'm wondering if it expects a SuperDrive (my Pioneer DVD-RW is detected as one). Can you burn in Disk Utility or Finder? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's funny iTunes doesn't at least check for a drive, especially with the newer Macs dropping optical drives. Or maybe that's the idea. Leave the option there in case you attach an external SuperDrive after launching iTunes. Anyway, if it's there for you then there might be something up with atka's setup.
