I haven't used this feature in a long time but I can't burn a disc in iTunes, I don't even have the burn option in preferences. Did they remove this from iTunes or is it something with my system.

I don't see any burn disc option in iTunes. (iTunes 10.6.3, OSX 10.8 GM)

To burn you have to right-click on a playlist. When you pick the option to burn you get the settings dialog.
Yah I know that its just that in 10.8 I don't have that option or the option to even set any burning options in preferences. Just wondering if its something with my setup or if they removed it.
And I have two burners showing up in about this mac on internal and one usb.

It works here, I even burned a playlist to test. Do any of your burners show up as having "Apple Shipping" burn support? I'm wondering if it expects a SuperDrive (my Pioneer DVD-RW is detected as one). Can you burn in Disk Utility or Finder?

I just checked, I have the burn to disc option with right click, and I don't even have a DVD (or CD) drive.

Or maybe that's the idea. Leave the option there in case you attach an external SuperDrive after launching iTunes.
Anyway, if it's there for you then there might be something up with atka's setup.
