Any success so far in Yosemite? I have IDE DVD-RW and hard disk drive on JMB363 (ASUS P5B deluxe) and didn't find a solution so far to get them recognized in latest OSX... :-(

I have different hardware now so I can't test my 10.8 kext in Yosemite but I'm guessing it should work. Make sure to boot with kext-dev-mode=1 in order to get unsigned kexts to load.

Thanks Freeman for answering so quickly! :-) The link for the kext appears to be dead... do you know where I can get it to try it out? Thanks in advance!

Ah, I see. I forgot older attachments are broken.

I re-compiled it a couple of days back in Yosemite just in case the Mountain Lion kext didn't work. Here it is.

Thanks a lot Freeman, P5B deluxe JMB363 PATA ports started working immediately on Yosemite 10.10.3 after installing this kext! IDE HD and DVD-RW working now!
