Benjamin Janssens
Hey, if want to let my Hackintosh recognize my CPU as dual core, because it is, but it says in CPU-X it's only 1 core, and i feel it at its performance.. Is there anyway to fix this? Boot flags= cpus=1 If i don't use the flag, i get KP Edited July 13, 2012 by fantomas1 Give your hardware specs when necessary (asking for support) and any other time where it may be beneficial to have them listed. fantomas
Hi BJ cpus=1 means that only 1 of 2 cores work, this can help some config to boot, but with a processor which quickly rises to 100% and the performances are weak ! i don't know what your config, but i think that you need to use a lapic_kernel ( patched kernel ) for your i5 !!! Google is your (false ?) friend !
Benjamin Janssens
Intel i5 2430M 2.4GHz I would really like some info about the kernel you're talking about? Also, will it fix my other problems? (Left Side USB doesn't works, Webcam,...)
fantomas
i don't think so ! For other devices, you need a good .kext (driver) ou maybe a good configuration of your dsdt.aml !!! pls, tell us more about your config (motherboard, graphic card...), is a laptop or desktop, you know !
