But now I want a new toy! I'd like a really really really cheap Hackintosh to mess with. The main use would be torrenting, remuxing and reencoding videos (MKVTools, Subler, Handbrake).
I want it to be small and quiet. I want a machine that I can leave to convert a video while I sleep, for example. I don't want lights, noise, anything. I want it to pretend that it's turned off.
I want it to blend in with my router... I have a furniture that has my TV on it, and my router next to it. I was thinking Mac Mini form factor, so it can sit next to my TV (opposite place of the router). I don't want to buy a Mac Mini because I already have a Mac, I just want a toy.
Maybe it's too much trouble, or perhaps not even possible, but can I use a Mac Mini case to build such machine? If not, what case do I use?
I want it to perfectly support Mountain Lion when it is released (I'll buy it for my Mac the day it gets out) and finally, I want it to be like $300 dollars, or even less.
Is this possible, or am I asking WAAAAAY to much here? If it is possible, can you provide me with build examples please?
P.S.
Here's my furniture:

I'll connect the Hackintosh to my TV via HDMI, so I can simply turn on the TV when I need it.
Thank you in advance.
