Hello guys

I would like to buy a new notebook, probably a HP or Asus with Intel core i7 or i5.

Which is the best configuration/model for installing Lion on it?

My doubts are only about graphic card since I don't know which model (Amd or nvidia) is supported 100% natively by Lion.

Maybe also the motherboard chipset is not easy to know which is the best.

Can you help me guys?

Thank you

For 100% hackintoshing, I'd recommend an HP ProBook 4530S. Any model would work fine. There is a DSDT and an installer package for it. Just make sure it's the Sandy Bridge edition.

Thank you, but the ProBook has Intel 3000 as graphic card (integrated) and is not very good for photoshop or games. I need nvidia card (this is just my opinion, correct me if I'm wrong)

If you're into gaming why not buy instead a used Toshiba Qosmio X500/770 series? I have a X500 that runs flawlessly with OS X Lion 10.7.4 with great graphics for gaming and a mind-blowing full hd screen. The 8 core i7 is also no slouch when it comes to do some serious computing.

Bear in mind that buying just a generic model that you might think fulfils your needs might run into some serious lack of compatibility issues. Been there...
