I just got everything working on my Toshiba Satellite running Lion 10.7

I then ran software update and installed the 10.7.4 update. Upon restart I get the Still Waiting for root device error.

How can I get this working?

CPU - Intel® Celeron® Processor T3100

2GB RAM

Mobile Intel® GMA 4500M Graphics

have you read this and tried all possibilities? About "Still waiting for root device"

if so and still get error, try specifying the boot drive and partition in chameleon by adding boot flag: rd=disk0s1
change the disk and partition # to match your own setup

Apart from the injectors yes I have tried all that. I also installed the patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext for 10.7.4

OK, so you didn't try everything in About "Still waiting for root device"

here is one particular excerpt that may be helpful (Oh and you sig has the AMD stuff, so throwing people off there :) )

"For Serial ATA drives in AHCI or RAID mode on Intel ICHx drive controllers that aren't supported directly on OS X:
AHCIPortInjector.kext OR LegacyAppleAHCIPort.kext (again, both at once = don't do it)"
