Hi do anyone know how to enable or make the wifi on a laptop work??? I tried installing the kext but nothing happen.   I know the wifi work because it work on windows 7.

OS: Mac os x Lion 10.7.2
Computer Model: HP pavilion DV6-2155ee
Wireless: Broadcom 43224AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n [14E4-4353]

I saw that page and it dose not support lion.

What? It is supported by Lion. (See comment page 6)

EDIT: Try to add your device-id in IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAirPortBrcm43224.kext/Contents/Info.plist

Add in the key

   <key>IONameMatch</key>
   <array>

this string

	<string>pci14e4,4353</string>

All the strings in the key are devices. Every device is listed with a vendor code (14e4: Broadcom) and a device code (4353: BCM43224AG)

What? You should go to IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleAirPortBrcm43224.kext/Contents/Info.plist and add in the key 'IONameMatch' your id as here:

	<string>pci14e4,4353</string>

No luck, the kext did nothing. I tried fix permission and reboot but the wifi card is not working.

i have just update Mac OS X Lion to the newest version(10.7.5). Including all the software of Mac OS X.

You try to enable wirelles with Fn key?Fn+F5.....or another key?
