Kokokills Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 I just installed iPC on my Gateway MT6840 with the Vanilla kernel and so far everything is working as it should. I did swap out the wireless which was an Intel 3945 with a Broadcom 4311 card from an older Dell laptop and have had no issues and it didn't require a driver. I've only had one kernel panic which is good. It hasn't happened again. I have iLife 09 and iWork 09 and they work flawlessly. I still need to update it to 10.5.8 and install iLife and iWork updates and some other updates. Now for updating: Can I use software update to update it? It has the Vanilla kernel.
