I work for a small construction and design company that operates entirely on Apple equipment. I am trying to find the best way to handle expense receipts. I created a user on our server with an email address for the guys in the field to email receipt images to.
I tried to setup an automator application to automatically archive the receipts into a zip archive, and email a summary of the days receipts to our accountant. The problem there was, I couldn't find a great way to tell automator to only get the attachments from email sent today. On days where we didn't get any receipts, it was resending all the old ones over again.
My question here is, would I be better off using something other than automator? Perhaps a bash script?
