IwantoHackintosh Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 I am new to Hackintosh and need a little help. I am also a little to the Hackintosh game. PC=Dell Inspiron 530, 3 HD, one Window 7 OS drive, I Windows 7 data drive and one OSX drive with 2 partitons (OS and data). Successful installed 10.6.0 from retail disk with sleep and cmos reset problem.....not a big deal and still usable. Updated to 10.6.8 successful but lost the HD bootloader.....sleep and cmos reset problem still there. After I install a bootloader......no mater which bootloader I use, old version, new version, ######, [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], Cameron, chimera, you name it, it boots ok, but just not able to see the DVD/CD ROM and the Windows data drive. I can see and access the Win 7 OS drive though if I use a boot CD to boot it up. Looks like I lost 2 of the SATA controllers (4,5) every time I install a HD bootloader.
