Well its the second time I have gotten a motherboard that no one else seems to be using! I have a ASRock H61ICAFE - which I have up and running, but can't get the Atheros AR8151 LAN nor the Realtek ALC887 sound working correctly. I attempted to use VodooHDA kext for sound, but get tons of static, and can't get the LAN to work at all. I tried a AR8151 fix fromhttp://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=50819 with no luck. Any help would be appreciated - especially in fixing the LAN problem!

Here are the complete stats on the board http://www.asrock.co...=Specifications

Thanks!

I tried to edit my DSDT a number of times, but no luck on the sound or ethernet. I was able to find the following attached kext which makes the sound work great. I bit the bullet on the ethernet and simply installed a Encore ENLGA-1320 -$11.00! that works with the AppleRTL8169ethernet.kext. I am going to try to get sleep working through DSDT editing, but any help in getting things to work natively would be great!

Sound works great now! but still no sleep or LAN. If anyone else installs the DSDT above with the Kext be sure and delete your vodooHDA kext first or it will cause a kernel panic.

I have a mirrored drive on my system that I do all my testing on, and any time I delete the NullCPUmanagement.kext I get a kernel panic. I have a i7 2600K, and in looking at HW monitor the CPU only operates at two frequencies

Thanks LatinMcG! - I got the AICPM re-patched - deleted NullCPUPM -and no kernel panics . It even increased my geekbench score by 383 points! Still no sleep, but I am going to keep messing around with it to see if I can figure it out with the info that oolll posted.

Everything working except sleep and USB3.0 - here are a copy of the kets, dsdt and .plists that I used for the H61ICAFE. I also included a copy of the AICPM kext that i used with my i7 2600K and this board.
