naton
I've installed Snow Leopard 10.6 on an Advent 4213 netbook and upgraded it to 10.6.8. I've installed SleepEnabler for 10.6.8. When I put the netbook to sleep, the screen switches off and the fan stops for about a couple of seconds and then the netbook awakes. How can I get sleep to work? Thanks. naton
What kext should I remove/add/update to get sleep to work? My BIOS doesn't have and option to switch the 'USB Legacy support' to 'Disable'.
danageis
Change the sleep mode in BIOS. It has to be set to 'S3'.
naton
The BIOS in this netbook is very basic. It doesn't have a setting for 'sleep mode' nor a setting to disable/enable "USB Legacy Support". Any other suggestions? p.s. On another laptop installing voodoops2 kext fixed the sleep issue but that didn't work with the advent.
