Tom Wallace Posted March 22, 2012 Share Posted March 22, 2012 I have an interesting problem when trying to install iAtkos S3 on my Windows 7 machine. After partitioning off a Mac OS Extended (Journaled) partition, and successfully installing iAtkos S3, and after creating a MBR boot entry for Mac OS X, I've found that Windows Boot Manager cannot load the OS X boot item i created. I've tried running in IDE & ACHI. I've tired reinstalling multiple times, on the same HDD and one seperate from where my W7 partition is installed. There is no error. When i select the OS X entry, the screen just flashes black and then kicks me back to the windows boot manager. I've tried deleting and recreating the OS X entry in EasyBCD- it didn't work. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've tried scouring forums, but i cannot find someone who has a similar problem. Any suggestions? System stats below. WIndows 7 Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge Processor G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3P LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard MSI R5770 Hawk Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Video Card Sata hard drives (Windows 7 installed on the same drive, but a different partition).
