gygabyte666 Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 Does anyone know of a way to get both the PlayStation Eye and/or the EyeToy working as webcams for things like iChat/iMovie/QuickTime, etc in Snow Leopard and/or above? I hate that iUSBCam has ceased production because both of these cameras work great while using it. Since, macam luckily supports both of them now, they obviously work great using the provided application but nothing else will detect them and use them...at least, not without bugs, glitches and crashes. I've already tried faking their device ids as iSight cameras using AnyiSightCam by AnV but that seems to only work on UVC webcams and I don't think either of these supports that sadly. I guess i'm just out of ideas ATM. I just hate that I can't use either one of them especially since they are both very nice webcams. Please, help if you can think of anything that might be useful in trying to get these working in the applications above. Mostly, I just need iChat support. Thanks for your time.
