Sigh....

no change, still not working right, can't get quartz or what ever it is enabled and the only reason I am at 1280X800 is because I told the boot loader to do it, if not I would be at 1024X768 , but I know the computer is capable of doing it because my install of ideneb 10.5.8 works perfect

Thank You

here is a thought, would this work if I install snow leopard on my computer and then install lion on top of that would it keep the graphics drivers and stuff?

Thank you

Try booting with -v arch=i386

when I booted it with that it got to a all black screen with a blinking cursor in the very top left hand corner of the display and when I typed it showed up where that cursor was sort of like a dos prompt, every once in a while I would see the mouse cursor show up for a second then disapear like maybe once every 2 minutes

which is kinda a change I am used to getting a garbled screen when I would boot into arch=i386

thank you I feel like we are making some progress lol

here is something, I loaded Snow Leopard 10.6.3 (iAtkos S3) and for the video section I loaded something called "EFI String" and then a natit.kext that said it was for the x3100 and then loaded the x3100 drivers and they work absolutely perfect, can I just copy those things into lion and have it work that way?

Thank you
