topsub Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 So i am thinking of buying my first imac. I have done some research but wanted feedback from people who done it. I would like to buy from apple the upgraded CPU and FX Card. Then when i get it put a 240 gig Corsair Force GT SSD and 16 gigs ( 4x4gb crucial ) ram. I saw i will need to buy 2x suction cups. PookyMacMan Posted April 3, 2012 Share Posted April 3, 2012 Don't know if you're going to need this anymore, but... FX Card? What's that? You aren't going to be able to put 4x4GB RAM in there.
