Can someone recommend a good wireless card?

I currently have the 4965agn wireless card. And looking to replace it, but I dont know what wireless card that is out there that will be compatible with my laptop (dv2910us) and lion 10.7.3. I have everything else working including qe/ci and I bought a mini usb adapter but it turns out it doesn't handle wpa enterprise networks so its next to useless for me.

might have to tape pin 20 .. or use switch after boot each time

 

the id 2A might be missing in airportatheros40 info.plist but add and it works. .. as long as u have proper smbios (not macbookpro4,1) i had issues of lag, no spund or pci devices!

try MacBook5,1 or pro6,1 with chameleon wizard

I've been seeing you talking about "tape pin 20" quite often

But I can't figure it out what it is.

I now have a working 9285 on 10.7.4, but simply adding my id to the original kext isn't enough

Eager to know more about "tape pin 20"

pin 20 of mini pci expres is the power control. taped = always on.

google pin 20 tape and youll find it in images section.

 

if u dont want to add id to the plist. u can try the dsdt fix of faking id 2A for the 2b u have.

or fake id 30 if it doesnt like 2A
