Jevi Cordon Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 hi, i just installed iDeneb 10.5.8 lite on my pc, but i have a FX 5500 so to enable QE CI i did these: install 9f23installer.pkg then set Custom GFX string by using Osx86tool i restarted and then i installed Coregraphics.framework 10.5.5 it all worked perfectly and i was able to Fully Enable QE CI, everything was working great but the only problem is the Glitched SYSTEM PREFERENCE and also some other windows, its black and garbled this is the screenshot. what should i do? Gringo Vermelho Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 Live with it or run 10.5.6. The OS X Nvidia drivers don't support Geforce 5 series cards post-10.5.6. Gringo Vermelho Posted March 9, 2012 Share Posted March 9, 2012 Yes, there are many other "graphics parts" in OS X besides the drivers themselves, like the OpenGL framework etc. Well done for experimenting and discovering a solution, that's what it's all about.
