SamAndrew Posted February 22, 2012 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Hello all, After about a week of trial-and-error, I've gotten 10.6 installed on my Dell Inspiron 1525 via this walk-through (despite the broken English): http://antyalias.wor...gle-usb-method/ Now, everything except Wi-Fi and sound worked out-of-box. I got the wi-fi working but the sound still isn't. This is probably my 4th go around (install, mess up trying to get sound, start over). Noteworthy: the volume slider appears in the top right, but no sound is output. Can someone please give me some pointers on how to get the VoodooHDA kext working so I can have sound??
