immutus Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 Hardware: Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2g Motherboard *Athlon x2 4200+ *2G 667 Mhz DDR2 Ram *Northbridge GeForce 6100 *Southbridge nforce 430 *Marvell 88E1116-autodetected by OSX 10.6.2 *Realtek ALC883-Choose ALC883 driver from sound driver section *Sata and IDE automatically work *Geforce 8600 GT-Detected as 32 MB but has 256 MB Ram *Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard v1.1-Not autodetected have to press Shift+z and Shift+? for OSX to identify it *Microsoft Standard Optical Mouse-Works fine However none of this is my issue When I add the EFI string with OSX86Tools for the 8600 GT for OSX to recognize all 256 mb ram and reboot the mouse becomes all jumpy and there is a noticeable lag when I type with the keyboard. Also the whole system becomes much slower in responsiveness. Applications open much slower and when I minimize a window it minimizes to the dock very slowly. Using the OSX driver for my mouse and keyboard from Microsoft does not fix the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
