Please don't read the following question because i discovered the issue cause....

I installed a wron audio kext....the iMovie stutters for this reason..

I will open a new 3d to ask to someone to help me to find a working audio driver....thanks a lot!

Hi Guys :-)

i'm very new to Hanckintosh and my 'default' language

is not english but italian, then sry.....

well, the story:

i have a Hp Pavilion 6030el with i7 cpu, intel hd 3000

as primary card and an ati 6490 card apparently not

switchable (both bios and mac). audio? it's a strange

IDT card. i found only the word 'IDT' on the hp specs web

site.

ok, with this hardware i successfully installed Official

Lion using the ##### tool (-v cpus=1 flags)

The OS works like a charm, it's recognized as macbook pro

8.1 and the hd3000 card works well with the all resolution

settings and with the 384 mb shared recognized...

now, the issues:

i had not sound then first i resolved using #####

with generic voodoo and sound works, but i was not able

to set up the volume..

yesterday night i tried an IDT KEXT and non all work well

but i had a panic kernel during kext installation. Rebooted,

Work good.

Then, why i'm asking for your help? because i want to

use iMovie soft....

i installed the 11 version and started it.....but i have

a strange problem: the preview works but very slow, i don't

know the english term, but it's not fluid, very very.....

mmmmhhhh....not fluid (chopping?)

i found many solution on clearing cache and settings but

i tried and not working....

the strange: my lion now plays hd video file trough

quicktime very fluids and clearly, and if i start e new project in imovie without

sounds it play very fluid....but if i start any 'trailers'

with sound it is all but not fluid....i'm desperate because

i need to finish a project...

My ideas:

1 - i see the lion is now using only 1 processor and 4 cores...

there is a way to enable all my 8 cores?

2 - there is an utility to enable some hidden features of

my graphic card? like some turbo boost for the q extreme?

please help me, i don't wanto to come back to windows!

Sent from my iPad

Edit:

I already installed the match kernel 11.0.0 with no problems...

I tried to install a realtek audio card apple rollback, but kernel panic and i reinstalled the os

Previously (yesterday) i updated officially to lion 10.7.3 and all works fine...

But the iMovie issue is still there.....

Another questione: Somenone know how to switch to Ati Radeon hd 6490m? In windows it is done by official Hp software, but in my bios there is no way to configure, enable, disable or select graphic cards....

P.s. Is about 10 day i' trying to find the solutions myself, i used the search butto of about any hackintosh forum or website...with no luck.....maybe my bad english? Please help :-)
