can you post your

OSInstall.mpkg?

I'm busy with several different things at the moment. I'll post it in about 45 minutes.

Leave the default options checked, but choose something in SMBIOS that relates closely to your system.

I used an SMBIOS from the Chameleon installer to fix that.

Now I am past installation, but cannot setup the system, as my bluetooth keyboard and mouse (both orig. Apple) don't work

I do not have any USB devices handy, so that would not get me past that point.....

btw. I am on Dell Latitude E6420 (i7QM 2,2 GHz, Nvidia Quadro 4200M, 8GB, 2x 256GB SSD)

Does anyone here know how to do what he did?

I got the same issue. Actually it was caused by the AppleHDA patched.
I restored the new one (10.8). I still don't have sound, i don't know how to patch it.

Anyone know how to get sound with ALC883 ?

Create a partition on your hard drive? Or just put in on a spare hard drive altogether ;)

Hello friends

I have found the error in my new Lion Mountain.

Since I always format my drives everto MBR, as usual, I used the 2 files from10.7.3 Lion
which this "OSInstall.mpkg" and "OSInstall" are. So now the error occurred at boot with ACPI.

Then I reinstalled the original files and lo and behold, Mountain-Lion boots from the "Mac base system partition"

and I was on a disk formatted with GUID partition on install everything properly.

Now I create an image with Disk Utility and do a SSD (120GB) with MBR again and then playback the image to it easily.

So we need 2 new files for the installation of the MBR Mountain-Lion !

Now ask the professionals here, who has the new MBR installation files already on Lion-Mountain?
Since the whole installation would be easier than the detour with the GUID partition.

That was my solution for my hardware see my signature.

Greeting Pinarek
