I'm Ryan! Canadian living in Montreal, working on my hackintosh setup for music production :) Have learned a lot here so far, hoping to learn more !  I have some questions regarding Brightness control but can't seem to post to any topic but this one. Any help appreciated!

Hello. This time last year I retired my Intel MacPro 1,1 to the attic after 13 years of great service. I was waiting for the “new MacPro”, but even I was surprised by the base-model cost. It was just too much “pro” for me! I decided to build a Ryzentosh instead. I’m using OpenCore as the boot loader configured with an SMBIOS personality of a MacPro 7,1. It is running Mac OS X Big Sur 11.1.

Thanks! Any advice on how to get permission to post elsewhere - I'd love to get some support with my iGPU and bluetooth issues but I'm only allowed to post here in the noob section...

hello, i have been using hackintosh laptops since 2009, first with a dual boot msi wind snow leopard/win7  (still working)  and for about 3 years a elitebook running dual boot high sierra/win10. After a windows related crash i'm trying installing big sur with opencore.

Hi, I'm Duque.

The first time I tried a hackintosh was with my current HP Probook 6470b and Mavericks.

It was a success and now it is running smothly Mohave and it will die with Mohave.

 

I have another probook, and old 640 G1, running Catalina. It is my Guinea Pig for Opencore and Bigsur. 

For the moment, just failure after failure.
