Hello Everyone,

I have bootable usb thumb drive of Lion 10.7.2 and want to install that on my PC.

 • Intel C2D E5300
 • Gigabyte G31-2SL rev 1.x (Intel G31/ICH7, On-Board Gigabit Ethernet, )
 • 2GB RAM
 • 1TB Sata HDD
 • Currently runs Ubuntu Linux.

Now, I read many installation guides like this but they require us to have access to mac or a Optical drive. so, maybe I can install mac in Vmware first or do something else. Basically, What are my options?

Options are to find a "friend" that either has an optical drive or a Mac!!

If you have access to an optical drive then use Google: Install OSX without access to OSX and took the first link:

If you get access to a Mac, then make sure you have plenty of thumb drives!!

In the tutorial you pointed, ##### CD is used but does ##### work with Lion? I think ##### is only supported on 10.6

PS: I have arranged for a optical drive as per your suggestion :)
