agashka
Hi, I just got this laptop from work and it came preloaded with Windows. While picking which laptop I wanted was out of control, as a programmer I want full control of the software. I've never installed OS X on a PC before, but I got familiar with the process by googling all day. Here's all I know about the specifications: CPU: Intel i5-2520M @ 2.5ghz Video: Intel HD Graphics 3000 Motherboard: Dell 03PH4G Chipset: Intel HM65 Memory: Samsung 2x2GB DDR3 PC3-10600 Hard Drive: Seagates ST95004 500GB Audio: Intel Cougar Point PCH - HD Audio Controller LAN: Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 AGN WLAN: Broadcom BCM5761 NetXtreme Gigabit I have the laptop next to me and can dig in more information if required. Anyone see anything that could give me trouble? -the ProBook 4530s have the same chipset and video card. I have until next monday to get OS X ready on this machine for my next work project, otherwise I'll have to stick with Windows.
6th
You might want to check if that Broadcom kext is available in 64bit. Mine definitely isn't
