I'm using GTX260 too and there is no GPU temperature like Mroczny's screenshot, here is my dmesg log

Try latest rev. from GitHub. Just uploaded with some changes.

Hello kozlek

Hi how can I fix this, thanks

Fabio

Impossible. Hide it from prefs app.

Hi Kozlek,

Great update to the application.

Is there any chance you can include a way to also display the average load across all cores? Thanks.

Don't think so. For other stuff use iStat Menus or similar.

Ok just installed the latest revision but it gives 187C....it can't be right..

I still need your kernel log.

No, I never use NVClock before.

I could integrate NVClock i2c methods to read temperature from onboard monitoring chip. But before, could you install nvclock and run it to check the temps?

NVClock: nvclock0.8b5_7-bin-universal.zip

Install memomrymap.kext driver, reboot and run "nvclock" utility from the archive with "-T" parameter.

ok here is what I get

sh-3.2# ./nvclock -T

GT200 [GeForce GTX 260]

=> GPU temperature: 63C

=> Board temperature: 49C

That's result. Seems it's found monitoring chip. In the next update I'll try to implement i2c methods into driver.

Ok just installed the latest revision but it gives 187C....it can't be right..

Hi Kozlek,

I get a CPU heatsink of 254 C

-> CPU1 25

-> CPU2 26

-> Northbridge 25

On a Gigabyte G41M mobo.

I get the same wopping 254 C with the previous version too.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi Kozlek,

Is there a chance of getting some sensors from GTX 670 to report stats, here is what i get from the kernel log :

try this testing version (could not work or could cause glitches and KP): NouveauSensors.kext.zip

Hello kozlek

can you explain me better what you mean

Thank you

Fabio

The value reported is incorrect. As I understand some SMART attributes are not standardized. So it's up to manufacturers to use their own value formats. Don't want to think about this now. So you could disable sensor in prefs.app for now.

The value reported is incorrect. As I understand some SMART attributes are not standardized. So it's up to manufacturers to use their own value formats. Don't want to think about this now. So you could disable sensor in prefs.app for now.

Hello kozlek

Ok Thanks.

I don't understand what's the problem is.

Ok, I will try to explain.It's not big deal for me I only want to fix my voltage values.I follow your guide in post #264 where you explain how to fix voltage values.So first step was take Dump from HWMonitor in windows, to find out sensors names.

Second step that I did it was to set names for each sensor in IT8728F Dictionary, because I need to get Vraw value form HWMonitor from OSX, which I will need later.When I did this I loose all voltage sensors and also some temperature sensors.Ineed to delete the entireIT8728F Dictionary order to have some voltage values in hwmonitor.app I think there's problem with sensor detection.

The names are hardcoded and couldn't be any. Use sensors names from other config from plist. Copy & paste them to prevent mistakes.

P.S. Any hardcoded/predefined name could be on any position in the same sensors group (temperature group, voltage ...). Sensor name in plist that's how you tell to driver to assign specific SMC key to specific sensor input.

My bad now I understand.Thank for your help.

Here is modified Info.plist for Z68X-UD3H-B3 boards and for IT8728F i/o chips.Please can you add this to project

HWMonitor for Windows

As you can see no there is no difference.Only I'm not sure about Auxiliary 3V but both programs shows same value.Maybe VCC3 is not Auxiliary 3V I don't know

Can someone explain what is the difference bewteen this fakesmc+plugins package and this package?

It is a completely different FakeSMC implementation project - Slice's FakeSMC HWSensors branch on Assembla.
