djrust
Hi. I tried installing OS X for a few days now. I tried iDeneb, Snowleo, iAtkos etc. Nothing worked. (except iDeneb which installed, but sound was awful and i got errors while in the settings menu). My system is an Acer Aspire 5551 Laptop: AMD Phenom x3 Triple Core Processor, Code Name: Caspian. Motherboard Acer 5551 Socket 785GX Video: ATi Mobility Radeon HD4200 GPU: RS880M Realtek High Definition Audio. Please help if you know what type of OS X I can install on this system. Thank you. spakk
Hi, Here's a how-to after (http://www.root86.or...etail-Tutorial-) I installed my OSX successfully. invite you to mod CD Nawcom 0.3. In addition to Item 4 (Installation), I booted my system with the following entries: -v -x -f busratio=20 cpus=1 arch=i386-force64 maxmem=4096 (maxmem entry is only required if you have more than 4GB of RAM, the value you give busratio has described AkimoA indicating value corresponding to your CPU settings, which may, between 11 - 29 are, just try it) I have successfully installed my system with a snow leopard 10.6.8 then it must also work with your computer My system is: Gigabyte GA-990FX-UD3 AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX- 550TI 3GB good luck spakk translated with google translator, I speak only German
