NCC74656 Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 I installed 10.6 successfully a year and a half ago but never got the drivers working. am i better off following through with 10.6 again or do we think 10.7 will run on my hardware? intel core 2 duo T7300 socket P (478) pm 965 chipset SB ich8-me (82801HBM) 8 gigs of ram Nvidia 8600M GT sigmatel audio and webcam broadcom 440x 10/100 NIC dell 1390 wlan card i plan to install mac on my second HD and i would like to use it for some 3d stuff and escape velocity nova. so having functional video drivers is huge for me, however since i have nvidia i think that should be simple. im going to start working on 10.7 install some time tonight, just looking for opinions or info from others who may have done this with the same comp.
