rgrover91
I was hoping I could get help from MaLd0n in creating a DSDT file for my Dell Latitude E6510. I am attaching a file created by the run_me.zip file I found on tonymacx86. I cannot shutdown, reboot, or boot up from the hard drive. I have to use a USB drive to boot from. My specs are: Dell Latitude E6510 Quad Core i7 1.60 GHz 8GB RAM @ 1333MHz nVidia NVS 3100M with 512MB DDR3 Intel Gigabit Ethernet Intel 3600 WiFi a/b/g/n Intel HDA Running Lion 10.7.
rgrover91
(SOLVED) Thank God!!! It's been close to 2 weeks and I have really learned a lot about MAC OS and have truly learned to love this product. Anyway, I found the solution in this posting: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=246491 I followed the instruction set out by MaLd0n and applied his DSDT file and additional line in my boot.plist. I just have to fix the shutdown and wireless card. You are the greatest, MaLd0n!!!!
