nyolc8
I read somewhere that 10.7.3 brings new graphics drivers. Can someone tell which cards added?
bergoulle
Also here no probs with wifi , using Realtec drivers. WHat do you mean with wifi probs: Not working at all or sometimes wifi lost ? I m using an Atheros 9287. To make it work, i added device ID in the IO80211..kext. In snow leopard it works without any issue. Since Lion, after boot, reboot, sleep,... my wifi doesn't reconnect automaticly. Genuine apple users reported similar issues.
TH3L4UGH1NGM4N
@nyoic8 the Tahitian cards are rumored to being tested in 10.7.3 (doesn't mean that they are working already just means Apple has been working with it for future implementation of the cards)

smartie77
Toshiba L500 runs these 11d42/46 builds with no problems. In fact it feels a bit faster now. Just needed to delete AppleHDA and hexedit the Ati4600controller for LVDS and obviously these Ati drivers are working good : I prepare a YT installation video with the 10.7.2 USB stick .. finally had the time to make one. Stay tuned ; My IM guide be updated soon .

Badeendje
Here are the gfx kexts from 11D46; http://www.2shared.com/file/yLuRIXsy/GFX_Drivers_11D46pkg.html They're better than the .2 stock, but a bit worse than the 11D33 kexts from which I still wonder why they gave that much of an increase which I can still reproduce. Anyways kexts updated to 7.18.11 and also added the OpenCL update (according to build date, July vs December)
mitch_de
OpenCL Updates mostly for AMD in the Dev builds. Nvidia OpenCL very less updates in the dev builds . So speed diff (if seen) maybe only for very fast AMD gpus, not Nvidia and not slow AMD gpus. Also in general (OpenGL+OpenCL) : Speed diffs for gpu drivers depend very much on gpu vendor and gpu type - the faster + newer the gpu + the faster the cpu , the more diff can(but most not) happen. For me with 9600 GT + C2D 3 GHz i cant see any significant (more than 10% diff!, less is measure tolerance+failure) speed diffs .
Badeendje
True, benching with both my 8800GT + 9400M is pretty much pointless. However my ati 6870 is great to bench with and with each dev build I can see noticeable differences, mostly positive ones.
