Snow Leopard on GA-EP45-UD3P

Sorry for anything I might have missed, this is my first guide, so please bear with me.

Hardware:

  • GA-EP45-UD3P
  • 2.93 GhzIntel Core 2 Duo E7500
  • 250GB WD Caviar Blue HDD SATA
  • Optiarc SATA DVD
  • 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix 1066 Mhz
  • PNY GeForce 8800gt 512mb

Software:

  • iAKTOS S3 DVD OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 10D573

Install:

Power up

Configure Bios to pictures (kudos to weaksauce12) then save and Restart

Hit F12 to get into the boot menu

Choose CD-ROM to boot into iAKTOS

After 5 minutes or so you will be at the language selection

Select your language, go to Utilities -> Disk Utility

Choose the Hard drive you would like Snow Leopard to be installed on and go to the Partition tab -> 1 Partition ->

Name: “Snow Leopard”

Format: OS Extended (Journaled)

Options: GUID Partition Table

Then hit Apply -> Partition

It should do its thing pretty quickly so after thats done, close Disk Utility

The “Install Mac OS X” box should pop back up. Click Continue -> “-->” -> select our newly partitioned hard drive “Snow Leopard” then click “Customize”install. I chose a few things which are...

Bootloader -> uncheck “AsereBLN v1.1.9” and check “Charmeleon v2 RC5”.

Patches -> Sleep Enabler

Drivers -> Main Hardware -> Sound -> Voodoo HDA and Apple HDA 10.6.2

Drivers -> VGA -> nVidia -> EFI string -> DVI/DVI

Drivers -> VGA -> nVidia -> Enablers -> NVEnabler

Drivers -> VGA -> Network -> Wired -> Realtek -> RTL8139

After 20 minutes or so you will hear music and see the welcome/flying through space introduction to Snow Leopard.

Choose where your from -> Your Keyboard Layout -> Transfer your Data from another Mac -> Internet Options -> Create your Account->Register Later-> Time Zone -> Done!

Now do software updates, restart and check for more software updates until your fully upgraded.

You may have to play around with the settings a few times to get things right. I tried multiple installs before this one. Let me know how it works for you guys!
