Hi All!

I have "no audio" problem! I have Asus P5N-E SLI mobo where audio is Realtek ALC883. Everything else is working like charm (with little fight) but no audio...

Weird thing is that in System Information recognize audio (in some cases even all plugs ie.audio out. microfone, SPIFD etc..) but in Control Panel -> Sound there is no output/input devices.

In BIOS audio is enabled and front panel option is AC97 (second is HDAudio). I don't have DSDT.aml and I have no idea how to make one. If anyone have any idea what to do, I would love to heard it!

Using iAtkos L1 distro.

This is resolved and here is how. If you use iAtkos L1 distro, just select latest voodooHDA from audio dialog and you are good to go!

i have the same yours system but i can't install macosx aitkos l1...
can you tell me how can i setup this software (what must i write in the terminal) i hope you can understand me

processor: intel e4500
2 gb ram
gigabyte gtx8500 512mb display card
