I've just installed Snow on a Novatech L51II0 which is a re-branded Hewlett Packard.

I have graphics working with a patched AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer

Sound, keyboard and trackpad work perfectly when booting with #####, but if I copy the kexts from ##### to E/E they stop working.

Using VoodooPS2 controller, Keyboard, trackpad and mouse from the ##### dvd in E/E or S/L/E gets the keyboard working but the trackpad doesn't work.

I tried using ApplePS2 Drivers attached but this causes the trackpad to be recognised as a mouse, therefore trackpad isn't available through system preferences, tapping doesn't work etc.

When booting I get messages about milt finger gestures enabled so I'm not sure if I need to edit these kexts to get my trackpad recognised as a trackpad and not as a mouse.

Any ideas why this works from the ##### CD but when running from the HDD it doesn't.

EDIT

Sound works with VoodooHDA 0.2.1

Still confused by this synaptics trackpad rubbish...I hate laptops

EDIT2

Installed the latest VoodooPS2 and Trackpad drivers and now it all works nicely

(I still hate laptops though!!!)

Thanks
