i was successful previously in running Leopard 10.5.8 on this machine with iatkos v7. I am using SnowLeo x86 DVD in my attempt at installing Snow Leopard.

my machine:

Sony Vaio VGN-FZ140e

gmax3100 chipset/intergrated graphics

intel core 2 duo processor

not sure about motherboard type

kexted used during installation:

legacyAHCI

appleRTC

applePS2

GMAx3100

OpenHalt

NullCPU

FakeSMC

voodooHDA

PowerMini

DSDT Patcher

it installs succesfully and i go through the account creation. the screen only displays on the left side, but it still functions at that point. after the computer restarts for the first time i lose all display. it does the grainy white lines and such. any ideas? Also i get the "hibernation file is too old, ForceWake=y to override" error once the computer reboots after initial install.
