[miniguida] iAktos L2 su Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L + Galaxy 8400GS 256 Mb

Salve, dopo varie prove sono riuscito ad installare iAtkos L2 su un pc fisso non proprio recente che monta come scheda madre una Gigabyte 945GCM-S2L (con 4 gb di ram, un processore Dual Core da 2 Ghz, hard disk da 500 gb sata e lettore dvd ide; versione bios della scheda madre: f8d).

Tastiera e mouse sono stati inseriti su porte usb sia pre che post installazione.

Di seguito volevo indicare ciò che ho scelto di installare da questa distribuzione.

- iAktos L2 Main System (selezionato di default)

- Bootoloader: Chameleon 2.1

- Bootloader options: Builtin Ethernet

32-bit

- Patcher: Fake SMC

Disabler

RTC: RTC

EVOreboot

IOPCIFamily

- Drivers: Main Hardware: Sound: Voodoo: 2.7.3

Hardware Sensor: Nvidia VGA cards

 

[per la scheda video 8400gs]

- VGA: nVidia: NVEnabler

 

 

Come monitor utilizzo un Samsung SyncMaster 2232bw e la scheda video va in automatico ad una risoluzione di 1680x1050.

 

Non ho testato la porta ethernet, ne tanto meno microfono o possibili webcam.

Per il wifi ho risolto mettendo su porta usb una chiavetta della netgear modello WG111v2 che monta una chipset RT8187l. I driver compatibili per lion che sto usando li trovate qui:

Oppure cercate con google il seguente file: NETGEAR_WG111v2_SNOW_Realtek_RTL8187_MacOS10-1.4_Driver_1309_UI1.5.1_3.zip

 

Lo scanner Canon Lide 90, una volta installati i driver presi dal sito della Canon, funziona bene.

Idem per la stampante Samung ML1520 usando i driver Spix v. 2.0.0 (http://guigo.us/mac/splix/)

Il pc inoltre ha una scheda pci con 5 porte usb (marca DeLock) che monta un chipset Via VT6212L, viene riconosciuta tranquillamente (con iAktos L1 questo non accadeva). Sul sito della delock sono presenti dei driver per mac (anche se non recenti: http://www.delock.co...ion=showdriver)

 

Per il resto, sto testando il pc da ieri e devo dire che nonostante l'hardware non recentissimo, Lion si comporta bene e mi sembra fluido e abbastanza stabile.

Anche quando dopo essersi attivato lo "stand by" il sistema rimane stabile.

Ho testato programmi come Photoshop e office 2011 senza problemi (ovviamente non sono una scheggia per via dell'hardware ma tutto sommato direi bene). Per scrivere su partizioni ntfs sto provando il programma Paragon NTFS che mi sembra buono.

Scanner Canon Lide 90, once installed the drivers taken from the Canon site, it works well.

For the rest, I'm testing the computer since yesterday and I must say that despite the latest hardware, Lion performs well and seems quite stable and fluid.

Even after being activated when the "stand by" the system remains stable.

I tested programs like Photoshop and Office 2011 without any problems (obviously not a splinter by hardware but all in all I would do).
