Ok, while running opensuse 10.x series KDE2 (or 3) had the ability to open terminal (konsole), within that open many tabs. Ok, thats nothing new, Snowlepard does that. What was cool was the ability to make one tab broadcast the keyboard inputs to the other tabs within the same window. This was great if you had to do the same tasks on multiple machines. You could ssh to 4 machines, an issue the same commands at the same time to all 4 machines.

I would really like to know if anyone has ever tried to configure that, or know of any utilities which would allow that functionality.

Thanks,
John Moore

use clusterssh (cssh) for what you're trying to accomplish. should be available via macports, too.
