Hi guys, installed iAktos S2 v3 and updated to 10.6.7 and then 10.6.8 now im at 10.6.8 everythings running well etc


BUT im getting a KP after every restart, so I boot into safe mode repair the kexts restart and it boots.....

so I either have a problem with the kexts not loading 1st time.... or maybe something in chameleon?

thoughts?

I'm not sure if you need it, but have you tried installing the legacy kernel for 10.6.8. I needed to do it in order to get my Intel Core i5 laptop booting after updating to 10.6.6(legacy kernel for 10.6.6) when installing with iatkos.
I'm using the retail DVD to install, as I don't need any legacy kernel for intel machines. So I only need legacy kernel for AMD computers.
But try downloading the legacy kernel from kexts.com

downloaded and installed some stuff from multibeast which seems to have worked although my sound doesnt now..... was working fine last night!
