s.sirio Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 DA, I am a totally noob and I have managed to get Lion 10.7.2 installed on my pc HP Pavilion DV6790el but still have few issues that I would love to get sorted and from several reading I have found that patching the DSDT will help. At the moment I have few kext that helps me with Internal Keyboard and Mouse, Wireless Card, Internal Card Reader, LAN, Audio and Battery: AppleACPIPlatform AppleACPIPS2Nub Appleps2controller Realtekr1000 Voodoobattery VoodooHDA VoodooSDHC Patched IO80211 to include my wireless card number 106c 002a What is not working is the Sleep since if I try do put the computer to sleep it will black the screen but you can clearly listen the funs going and the CPU in active. Further it does not wake at all and I need to hold the power button for 5 seconds to get it turn off. It would be great if any one with some knowledge of the DSDT could help me patching. Please find attached the IOReg and the Original DSDT, do let me know if you need anything else.
